First off, the rules go as followed, I've made two sections in this post, one for generalized must follow rules, the other for more deluxe stylings. For example, the rp' character rules, etc.

General Board Rules

First rule, you may in fact roleplay under more than one character under the same account name. For obvious example, I am currently occupying Uzumaki Naruto. However, at the start of your post, use some sort of communication to show us which character you're currently using in this topic, and thus making it easier to reply. (EX - Color coding, names, etc.) (This is not mandatory, however. You may create multiple accounts but please make sure you mention every account when posting in activity checks and etc. Failure to keep all accounts active will result in stripping you into having all characters on one account.)
Now, secondly, we are allowing you the right to unlimited custom characters, meaning you can make up as many characters as you wish. (To certain limits) However, you're only allowed 3 canon character to any account for now. This is to save canon's for those new member's who like canon character's best, or wishes to be a certain canon. (Pending)
Do not double post anywhere. It just makes everything go smoother cleaning out the boards (unless there is a 24 hours+ after your last post)
Stay away from cursing excessively. I'm fine with a "damn" every now and again, as the Naruto world does it often. However saying it every other word shows lack of originality.
Other rules outside of this general list that we, the staff members, has posted will be followed as if it was posted in these rules. However it will make it duty to inform you prior of it's existence, for example posting before affiliating, or things of that sort.
DO NOT EVER ARGUE WITH STAFF.
Avatars can be up to 100 pixels in width and up to 1-0 pixels in height. Anything bigger is automatically resized. Signatures cannot exceed 550x350 pixels to prevent the stretching of pages. Large images can slow down ones internet and it makes one scroll down continuously to get to the next post. However, you can have icons or avatars in your signature.
Also, do not ask a staff member to make you staff. We decide it, so don't show lack of patience.
The word count for posts is to be at least 200 words--which could be about 2 paragraphs. And on that note, lyrics, quotes, anything that is not in character/in context will not count to the word count.

Deluxe Character Rules

First off, for character profiles, if you wish to be a custom Uchiha, Hyuuga, Kaguya, and any other clan from the original Naruto series, you may create one. However, you cannot create a custom Uchiha, Kaguya, Hyuuga, etc that is a brother or sister that was never known about from the series. Cousins, aunts, uncles...That kinda stuff. Canons whose parents were never shown can also be made.
Also, on profiles, do not post in someone else's, unless you are staff. If you see a mistake staring you right in the face, contact staff, and we will handle it. Worry about your own profile, and less on someone else's.
On canon character's, please type your history yourself. Or small amounts of it to fit the storyline of this site.
Rp in Past Tense, And 3rd Person.
DO NOT God-Mod. This is not tolerated. However on flip-side, typing something that is supposed to happen is tolerated. For example, in Genjutsus, you can post what the other sees, however you can not type their response in reality.
Do not delete posts out of an Rp' area.
In your profile, if you leave it incomplete, or unfinished, place this in the name to where we do know if it's finished or not.
We do not wish to see anything of the "PG 13" nature. However emotional roleplays that could possibly lead up to the scene, that also do not violate anything of Proboard's TOS, for example just Sakura crushing on Sasuke, is fine, as long as you don't do anything "PG 13."
Finally, I will say my personal expectations on roleplaying expectations. On canon characters, we expect more than from customs. For example, on one like Uzumaki Naruto, I would expect a great amount of skill on the holder, which is why I did take him. Also one like Uchiha Itachi, I expect great skill on the holder. I don't wish to see our Konohamaru better than our Itachi. However I don't wish to see one liners anywhere on the roleplaying boards. Reason for this is to stop spam posts, and give more feeling to the roleplaying.

Though some of these rules, I have made consequences for already, staff team can have right's to changing this however they do see fit.
